Fundamentally Changing the Core PayPal Product Offering
In response to a new CFPB law, PayPal decided to require the customer to opt into creating a subaccount to hold a balance. Leading multiple rounds of usability and AB testing, and iterating continuously, click-thru-rates were improved by +20% (relative).

Increasing Transparency, Decreasing First Payment Default
The existing process to set up a payment plan resulted in many missed first payments and loan defaults. The redesign goals were to make the options clear, encourage an increased selection of auto payments (lower missed first payments), and adhere to strict regulations. Live experimentation resulted in increased auto selections and decreased first payment default by 15.6-20%, benefitting both the customer and the business.

A Moment of Joy to Improve Completion Rates
After leading a cross-functional workshop to discover areas for "quick wins" that could improve application completion rates, one promising area was the Approval page. After cleaning up and restructuring content, improving scanability and impact, and adding a fun, motivating confetti animation, completions improved by +2.2% (relative), increasing annual funding by $30M.

CMYK
My early career as a graphic designer included print, OOH, commercials, and more, winning a handful of awards along the way. When I would go in for press checks at the local print shop, they called me “Eagle Eye.” I like to think it was affectionate, that they were enamored with my constant, not at all annoying adjustments to registration and color matching.

Logomarks
For more than 10 years in Arizona, I worked with a few design studios, agencies, and freelance clients on branding and logos. I was lucky to learn from some of the best visual designers in PHX, which supercharged my UI craft and ultimately helped me realize my strengths lie in asking questions.

Bespoke Marketing Websites
Bridging branding and interaction design, I crafted many websites for clients across various industries. To risk dating myself, I even used to crank out Flash banner ads, which helped me focus on concise storytelling and timing, and taught me the importance of naming and organizing all my layers.
